Connor Morel is a London-based singer, actor, writer, and musician with a Bachelor of Music Theatre.
As a performer, theatre highlights include Gimli in The Lord of the Rings – A Musical Tale (GWB Entertainment), DJ Fontana and others in Elvis: A Musical Revolution (David Venn Enterprises), Jordan Ridley in The Mentor (Bravo Arts), Ensemble and Robbie/Sammy cover in the Australian/New Zealand tour of The Wedding Singer (David Venn Enterprises), and Roger in Rent (James Terry Collective). In 2022, Connor trained under master clown Philippe Gaulier in Étampes, France.
As a writer, Connor co-wrote the songs for Josh Glanc's Family Man, which began its run at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe to multiple 4-star reviews from The Times, FestMag, and others, and was nominated for Best Comedy Show at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. The show went on to play Off-Broadway at Soho Playhouse. Connor and Glanc are now developing a new musical together.
Connor's own solo show, A Lovely Day to Be Online, was supported by Geelong Arts Centre's Creative Engine and premiered at Melbourne Fringe before touring to New Zealand Fringe, Adelaide Fringe, and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. His follow-up, Good Man, was commissioned by Geelong Arts Centre with further funding from the City of Greater Geelong. It premiered in 2026, winning Best Cabaret at Adelaide Fringe and playing two sold-out shows at Geelong Arts Centre.
